Was looking to get a new outlaw 525. Was wondering if anyone new of any differences from '07 to '08. Polaris Specs I saw all looked same, just red now not black. But i thought i remember seeing somewhere that the 08 had different shocks?

 

The 08 has the Fox shocks in the front, but still has the RydeFX on the rear. The seat latch is better on the 08. A few minor changes on the rear lower a-arms, but not a whole lot. If the prices are close, the 08 would be best. But if there about $1000 apart, the 07. I just don't like black, but they did make a white for 07 too.

 

Yeah, I'm not too worried about color, but I do like the sound of the Fox upgrade. I'll have to see what pricing looks like but will probably go 08.

I just purchased a 07 outlaw 525... I must say it is awsome. My dealer said that nothing has changed except color...I choose the 07 not because of the price, money wasn't a concern, it was the color. I think the red & white look ugly...I might have a bias opinion because I love black. Good luck on your purchase... I think you will love the quad. IRS is the way to go unless you race motorcross, but I must say I smoke all my friends on their YFZ 450's, TRX 450r's, Raptor 700's & LTR 450 quadracers on the trails and in drag races.
