my 04 sportsman 600 speedometer and cluster stopped working. I purchased a new one and it still doesnt work. I need help to where I might go next! I mosut have a short, everything works as lights, starts. no four wheel drive and no reverse limiter

everything works, starts runs, winch works and all the lights including brake light. Is there a fuse somewhere just for the cluster. I have also thought the cluster I bought brand new could be bad if there is know where else to look at.

 

I figured it out! 16 pin layout Pin 1 & 8 dc 12v and Pin 2 & 8 DC 12v, if that did not work than need a new speedometer. My ground wire was bad Pin 8 is a ground wire color brown. Good luck! I found a great website on how to test your speedometer
