Rebuilding A 1987 250x and need help with TRANSMISSION
#1
Hey All,
I bought a 87 250x off a buddy for real cheap cause he said the tranny was seized up. After splitting the case I discovered 3 gears that needed replaced, a clutch fork that broke completely off, and the clutch fork shaft was bent. After getting all of the parts and getting it almost completely together, the book says to turn the motor and shift through all of the gears. First gear seems to work great, but when i throw it in neutral, the sprocket shaft still spins and as I go up in gears it starts to bind up on me. I would appreciate any help at all.
