Polaris 700 Transmission Problems
#1
Hello guys, I've ran into some trans. problems and I do dont wanna spend up to 1,300.00 dollars for a new one. The transmission is runing rough and a little noisy, seems like its having problems turning, but their is fluid in it. I've heard of something called lucas oil thats is suppose to help with transmission problems but not to familiar with the product. Is their anything I can do to help the transmission out from making so much noise and running so rough? Thanks

Lucas does have a manual trans fluid treatment as well. I've never used it but anything is worth a try I guess. It's a LOT thicker that the oil in the bike now, so if you run in cold weather you might have problems shifting, but I'm not too sure.
I ran 2 bottles of Lucas ATF in my old POS after a trans flush and when I fired it up and put it in drive it stalled my 302ci like it was a stick sift with the brakes locked The oil was so thick it was like the torque converter siezed and stalled the motor. So my advise is to use a little and not the whole bottle in your SP trans.
