Default Arctic Cat 90 carb swap

My daughter has an AC 90 and I have always had problems with the carb. Does anybody know of a carb(preferably a mikuni or keihen) that will swap out for this thing? I would really like to find one with a manual choke...thanks.

K, there are alot of carbs. U should be able to swap-out with from others I can't give you makes or #'s all you need is for it to be similar to the orig. for the hook-ups. possibly new Jets to meet your needs. (Off a SIMILAR size bike)? I have for (EXAMPLE!) taken a MIKUNI carb. (2BBL.) of a Sled (snowmobile) and retrofitted it to a OLD!!! Chevy. that I couldn't find a carb. for (NOT EVEN AN AFTERMARKET CARB. WAS AVALIABLE FOR IT..) so I improvised & it worked even got better MILAGE! Loss on take off but it did WORK.......... if that's any HELP? ....Dennis

# Pz19 is a type of Carbs commony used for most of all chinese atvs with a 4 stroke Engine from 90 to 110cc. It has a design based on PB16 Keihin. Hope this info. would be some of help for you, krthemachinist.

There was a topic awhile back on this forum for the Arctic Cat. Had something to do with the carb. Possiblily the auto choke sticking if I remember correctly. Supposed to be a fix for it. Anyways, do a search and you might find it. AS for what carb? Try using a scooter 4- stroke carb. Similar to the ones that were already mentioned. You can find one on ebay relatively cheap. Just make sure you get one that has the mounting flange if required. Good luck!!

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions. I have looked at Sudco and ebay but most of the ones that I found are a flange(bolt on) mount. If worse comes to worse I can make an adapter to get one to fit.

Get a keihin pe 20mm roundslide carb tfrom quite a few dealers. Team sims has always done me right and has them for about $100-$120 with a new throttle cable, you'll have to ditch the oil injection and run premix. You wont have any more carb problems after you switch. You'll need about a 95 mainjet and Sims will guide you and get you the right jets. I have no connection with Sims but can recommend them highly. You can get the same carb for more $ from WRH,Hetrick or sudco as well.
