The belt light came on which apparently kicked in a retarder function so the ATV will not run right. Dealer advises that I have to bring it in so they can reset the computer so it will run properly after the belt is relaced. Going to take at least a week they said, don't have time this is a working ATV on tracks that grooms snowmobile trails and we have to get it running. Does anybody know how to reset the computer after the belt is changed so we can do it ourselves? Thanks.

Belt lite on could mean a few things. 1- belt needs replacement. 2- are you at or near or a little over 100 hours, if yes then you may just try a belt re-set to see if it fixes the problem. You didn't state how many miles u have on the '03, so it could be a belt problem.
