me and my buddies are very competitive when it comes to riding. He doesnt believe in modifing his 250r. (which it is very fast and powerful). BUt I am sick and tired of being out ran on my trx450r.

Is it possible for me to out run this torqe moster on my TRx??

what am I missing to be able to whip his tail?

Well a pipe would be the first thing I'd do.

 

all gas till you see god then brake... but come on i have a buddy whos on a 450 and im on the same thing u have only i have a supension set up in front.. a-arms will help alot keep that speed through corners and thats where you need it

 

HRC kit. Makes a big difference.

 

Wait. Is that a crf250r, as in the bike? If so good luck with that. Doubt it ever happen.

 

There is a lot you can do to go faster, but you will never catch that 2-stroke! He has a huge weight advantage, and lots of motor........

The HRC kit is probably the best bang for your buck. It will mostly net you mid and top end.

 

Hondas 250s are now 4 strokes and have been since last summer

 

pretty sure that's a 4-stroke ranger

not likely you will ever go as fast on an ATV as a bike (unless it's snowing maybe)

atvs are for old men like me. you want to keep up get a bike.

 

Mike its not the ranger... the 2007 CRF205R is a four stroke liquid cooled engine.. dont belive me look it up.. its the same thing my 12yr old brother rides. (same goes for the 2008)

 

stuck027 you misunderstood here. MikeM was telling reconranger that it was a 4-stroke. As you know, prior to '07 250r were 2-stokes. I don't think the new 4-stoke should carry the same name as it's 2-stroke predecessor. They are clearly 2 very, very different machines.

So KEv80 what year is this crf250r.
