ok,air box seems clean and i am going to replace sparkplug just to be safe.(it was black around end).i noticed though that when i took the plug off that the top of the plug has a treaded top instead of a regular cap like in a car... is that normal?

Usually if your plug is black, you are running too rich. My V2 does the same thing and I'm trying to get it start and run properly. That is normal for the threaded plug connector, a lot of bikes are like that.

its cranking with the pull crank better now but when i try to use the push button it just clicks.im going to try a newer battery and check out the starter to make sure its engaging correctly.on the running to rich part? how do i correct that?
