Titan 589's on 4X2 Rancher
#2
I don't believe so, but I may be wrong. I did a ton of research before I bought my 4x2 some new shoes. You definitly want to take a look at the mudbugs and the mud runners. Also the best price that we've found in this forum is at treadepot.com.; but you can shop around at local dealers to see what they charge. Also you may need to go to highlifter's website to look at the bugs.

Deadeye,
Were you able to mount those Mudrunners on your stock rims? I think its at least time for some new rear tires.
Did you change out the front tires? If so, what kind?
From what I read Mudrunners or 589's would be best suited for my style. I think the 589's require a different rim.
Thanks!

Maxtrax-
It makes a world of difference. I go places now that my stockers wouldn't dream of. It is hands down the best mod I have done to my quad. You will notice a slight power loss, but not bad. Also you will need to hit mudholes in a gear lower. Example... I hit a sticky mud hole in second gear, the mud was over the tires!! I could hear the engine start to bog down due to the fact I was throwing mud clods the size of tennis shoes out the rear. The clods were hitting small pine trees and moving the trees!!! Anyway, by this time I was no longer making forward progress and the engine speed was slowing so I down shifted and started rocking the quad from side to side. The 26x12 mudrunner started catching traction and I pulled out of the hole. My friend on a 4x4 rancher stood there with his jaw on the ground because he had gotten stuck in that hole about a week before!!! When I came out of the hole the MR were perfectly clear and looking to gobble up some more mud. I could believe how well they cleared.
