Default WOT...

had my 700 out on the lake today... (it frozen for you guys down south) at wide open throttle it seemed like there was a miss.... almost like there was a rev limiter or something?? it never did it at any other speed.. anyone ever heard of this??

question2 is how bad does putting 27" tires mess with the speedometer??? was i really only going 40 at WOT?

There is a rev limiter and its around 6300-6400 rpms. Heres a tire calculator you can use that will tell you what speed your running with the 27's. http://www.intercotire.com/site62.php

only 40 dang there mus be something wrong, but i bet its the trans sensing of that belt setup, i wonder if theres a way to fool it, that calculator said 43.2 that just aint right, but you know my hawkeye out on the open sand will only run 40 MPH flatout and not a lick faster its almost weird.

Was it wet snow on the lake or hard packed. If the conditions are wrong I,m lucky if my sled can cross a lake at 80 mph but if the conditions are correct I can do over 100mph easily.

yea i had my sled @114mph on speedo but was only doing about 100 before i got hurt so chances are theres alot of spinning. and the speedo sensor on the new bikes at least are on the fron wheel. 27" wheels dont make it off that much at least no more then 5 to 8 mph(guessing) w/ the bigger tires on my 800.
