06 650 v2 resetting belt alarm?

Default 06 650 v2 resetting belt alarm?

Can anyone help me? I have an 06 650 v2 i hit the 100hr mark so that belt alarm flashes on the screen. My question is how do i reset it?

did you get the reset key for it? i know on the 04 it was on the right side of the machine you had to go through the process. if you have about 170 extra dollars i highly suggest getting a dynatek cdi box. you will never have to worry bout that again and you gain about 20 percent horsepower. i have an 04 and i did that almost right away and so that was about 3 1/2 years ago since i did it last so i can't remember.

Default 06 650 v2 resetting belt alarm?

u need the belt trip reset connector, should have come with your quad in your tool kit. it has a tag attached to it that has directions on how to reset it.

naw it never came with one and the dealer isnt being any help. where else would i be able to get one of those reset connector? ill have to look into that dynatek cdi box when work starts picking up. unfortantly its the slow time of the year
