I own a 05 SP500HO. I replaced my frt axles w/ gorilla OEM units. I recently broke a u-joint due probably to excessive axle joint angles. Neither gorilla or my local suppliers can help me find a replacement. Gorilla has been difficult as they apparently don't manufacture these and don't seem to care too much about my problem. I have gone to several axle/bearing/u-joint shops w/ no luck. The u-joint is stamped KOYO B. Any ideas?

 

Do you mean a CV?? If it's a Gorilla you might have to go back to Gorilla for a replacement. Or see if you can find out who makes Gorilla joints and get one directly from their supplier

 

I don't mean a CV. The 500 uses u joints at the inside (center hillard) and CV's at the hub end. Even though gorilla is the seller of this axle they don't seem very helpful. The put me on hold for 25 minutes last time.......

 

this cant be an 05' as they stopped using universals in 04' models as far as i can see unless your refering tothe prop shaft which i dont think you are.

 

Take the u-joint into a NAPA or similar store and they can match something up for you for sure.
