I just ordered the supertrapp IDS pipe and the K&N power kit for my 2000 SP500 and it should be here at the end of next week. I am considering buying a clutch kit also and I wanted some feedback from people who have installed these kits on a SP500 and which one should I buy. Also should I spend the extra money and get a roller clutch. Ialso wanted some feedback from anyone with a piped SP500 on what size jets they used with their new pipe.

Roller clutch would be ultimate in performance, but you would have to ditch the EBS clutches, and go to the standard setup.

The SP500 has an awful top end, even with a DynoJet or K&N kit, and pipe, doesn't matter. Sure you get some improvement, like maybe 4-4-1/2 hp max, it all helps. When you only put out 19 hp at the rear wheels it's a 20% gain, but it doesn't help the top end much. We're going to a different carb (40mm) and will report back when we get it done.
