Default Rancher CV boot

The front left outer CV boot is torn on my 2000 Rancher ES 4x4. How difficult is this to replace? Can you give me an idea how to go about it or tell me where I can download a service manual in pdf? I just noticed the tear in the boot and have not heard any noise from the CV joint so I'm planning to just replace the boot.

Thanks

It's not hard at all. remove the axle, cut away the old cv boot, using a plaztic funnel taped to the cv joint pull a new boot into place, add grease and seal. Takes about 45 minutes

I found the whole process pretty easy but I had major problems trying to get the cv clamp on tight. It kept slipping off. I ended up taking the whole CV axle to a auto cv place and had them crimp the clamp. They only charged me $5.00 and it was well worth it.

Anymore instead of the metal clamps I use plastic ty wraps from 3M. They're heavy, uv rated and easy to get tight.
