Default Scrambler 400 Coolant loss/ Flywheel damage HELP!!!!!

I just bought a 1995 Scrambler 400 4x4 with a flywheel that lost a magnet, and damaged the stator of course. After I started checking out everything else, I discovered there is NO coolant in the system at all.

This recently had the top end rebuilt, so I'm thinking it wasn't done properly, and there is a major coolant leak, but of course, I can't locate the leak without it running since I don't have a coolant pressure tester.

My questions are;
What are the chances that this coolant leak was in fact from an improper rebuild, and if so, other than major over heating, are there other things I need to look for?

Could it being out of coolant have had anything to do with the flywheel losing it's magnet, such as a sudden seizure, I guess???

Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Default Scrambler 400 Coolant loss/ Flywheel damage HELP!!!!!

would I be able to see a crack in the water jacket with just the head off or am I going to have to take off the cylinder?

I don't all the magnets, it was taken apart before I bought it one mag is gone and one is really damaged.

Any clues as to what caused the magnets to go, could this be coolant related?

I dont want to replace the flywheel and have it happen all over again!!

I'm hoping that whoever rebuilt the top end damaged the flywheel removing it, and that could be why the coolant leak, the same stupidity caused otehr damage. That's what I'm hoping for!
