just some helpful info if anybody was wondering( i was bored) so i lookd up the ecm pn#'s for them. 06'sp.450- 4011110, 07'-4011568, and 08'sp 400HO doesnt have one instead they went back to a recifier pn#4011182. so i guess they changed them in 07' so more more ecm issues. just thought i would pass it on.

Polaris did some changes for the worst, glad to see the ecm thing fade away, needing a healthy battery for the ATV to start and run was nuts. Now lets see them go back to there large 5.25 gallon gas tanks and locking front hubs that had no plastic cage thing to worry about.

you have to remember that the sportsman 400(old hawkeye) doesnt have the same speedo w/ fancy screens. so this is why i think they dont have the ecm. caper i think they would look the same but did you check your updated(last one you put in) ecm pn# agaist the ones i posted? just wondering if it was the same.

They don't!? Then how would someone know if its time to change the oil in the machine or know that they are running out of gas? Without a built on GPS how do people find there way back home?

With out a flashing code ,how does one know there air filter is dirty?

I,m waiting for onboard satellite weather imagery display to come out next , so I know if its raining or not.

i think TLC is on to something... i would like to see some tire pressure sensors inside the rim so i know if i might be a little low... also a reminder to remove the winter air and put in some fresh spring air... that direct weather link would be a really nice feature.. i mean if your going to ride from texas to washington wouldn't it be nice to know what you might need to pack.... i still cant figure out that GPS thing though... all these little lines with numbers on them... i never see lines or numbers outside when im riding... they really mess me up..
i know you guys are being serious and everything about your ECM sorry for the hijack... or cant you say that anymore without being considered a terrorist
by the way could anyone help me install my fish finder on my hawkeye

i think you better put on the pontoons right b4 the fish finder. hey i like not having the ecm on the little 400. one less thing to worry about and besides you think my wife pays attention to that lol. actually when the 450 was flashing hot she stopped and shut the bike off and then turned the key on to let the fan run. i taught her well.

You guys forgot the most important thing. An inflatable bubble to enclose us and keep us safe from everything. This of course should have lots of warning decals about what can happen to us while using this product. Of course the decal manufacturer will decline responsibility for anything and everything. Whether or not you read the decals. And on and on and on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111
