Default anyone running 27x9x12

My new Mudlight xtr's came in today and they look huge.
I have been told that the extra inch over factory size in the front won't matter, but holy cow! they look big.
Is anyone else with an 05 or later Sportsman running 27x9x12 front and 27x11x12 rear?

I have the 27x9x14 and 27x11x14 and they fit just fine, but I have mine mounted on ITP SS wheels so the front offset is correct.

I would guess about 2" wider all around. I still fit through the 50" gates.

Good, I have an Avalanche and the opening is 50 inches. I can fit my 700 in there with the factory tires. Only the front end fits in..the rear sit on the tailgate.
Each tire is one inch wider with half of that going to the inside, so on paper the front end should only be 1 inch wider. Of coarse that only leaves me one inch to play with.
My wife's machine won't fit with 8" front tires, but she has ITP rims with an offset.
The dealer is going to take me in the morning so I will know tomorrow.
I am going to take my almost new factory tires and put them on my wife's 400. she has 25" tires so she will get upgraded to 26's.
So, I have her 4 tires plus my 4 tires plus the 4 new tires in the back of my truck.
A thieve could make a killing tonight.

good luck, thats a tight squeeze with the avalance. I have a dodge ram quad cab and I dont like my 800 in the back due to the high winch mount, rear window glass, and poor tie downs.

ya i was guessing about 1 1/2" wider on my 800 w/ the 27"x9"x12" then stock, so that would be in the ball park. hope your putting on differnt rims or spacers as it might be a tight fit. let us know.

I am trying to use the factory rims. If I have to use spacers or an offset it will make it even wider.

Well I mounted them and the 9"front is JUST rubbing on the tie rod end.
I don't want to use spacers because they will make my Sportsman to wide for my Avalanche and because they are expensive. Has anyone here ever put washers being the rim on each lug stem? I would only need 2 of them to get the needed clearance.
