Bump... Guess your the first! I have seen sport bikes with the orginal front forks and an axel installed on the rear to make it a 3-wheeler. Crazy, crazy fast for the hills, but not practical for anything else.

Back in the day, I saw a Yamaha RD-400 motor put into a custom frame... same result.

Good luck with your project, make sure you post some pic's.... would love to see what you do.

Dillon, Iwant to see pics also.
Back in 82 or 83 I saw a 900 on a threewheeler w/sand drag tires. It made 3 passes before he blew it to pieces. Fun to watch though. Just sold my 1400 intruder (cruiser) it had massive torque. Mike
Might want to check the frame real good. a few xtra supports could come in very handy with that much power in a 250 frame.

ehhh... Braking is for sissy's...

250 Big Red frame?... 1100?... I think your larger worry is not breaking the frame in half. Have you measured that deal... Will it fit?

saw a AC-1000 snowmoble engine on a 4wheeler frame. He was doing really long
burnouts with it. Still trying to remember the website..Its a CRS thing.
There is a big atv/motor cycle junkyard close to me. Its just S.E. of Mountain Home Arkansas about 20 miles. You got me thinking about building something, just for fun.."The need for speed"
http://www.bricks4x4farm.com/ this place has all kind of riding, including drags.

If your putting it in a ol' big red. You may want to chop and extend the frame with some wheelie bars to boot! Other wise I don't think any one will be able to control this beast. Also you better upgrade the brakes to some disks all the way around.

yes ive thought about this im putting two extra supports on the front axle and back this is an 82 so theres no shocks or fork shoks its just frame im getting disk brakes and reenforcing the bottom support and to bars in the fron around the motor adjust the frame were the gass tank is just cut it out and add a bigger area im almost positive ths will work it has 3 or 4 carbs i cant remember and i have to clean them and weld in the supports the only problems that are esy to fix its just not fun to mess with is the breaks and the wireing and the spark plugs i have the wireingg just have to set it up with the battery for electrick start i allso found a web site that showes other pepoles atc there called 3 wheeler pullers but also im wondering if i have to re enforce the back axle if it will hond up
