Default how do I replace rear u joint on my 2000 rancher

Ive got a 2000 rancher es and I think the u joint for the rear drive shaft is going out. This thing is making a high pitched squeal and kind of a clunk sound. I dont know how to remove and replace everything to get to the u-joint, so please help. Is this an easy task, or will it make me throw a hammer? Im not ASC certified but Im also not the guy that takes it in for an oil change. Im not 100% that it is the u-joint because I can only hear tha squeal while driving, especially when im in a turn or flexing the rear axle. it comes and goes. Where can I get the parts I need cheap and good quality?

need to pull the swing arm, need a special tool to loosen and tighten the locknut on right side, disconnect lines and brake cables, remove boot and whole swingarm will come out and the u joint will be on the motor or on the driveshaft loose.

i would be shocked if its broke, its massive and shares the same components as the forman with 100 extra cc. good luck,

you sure the swingarm bolts and bearings aren't broke? grap the thing by the rear rack and pull side to side, if its banging the bearings are gone, and both sides will need to be replaced. good luck

you can get parts from service honda

ps if its the bearings in the swingarm that are bad, you need to stop riding immediately, my buddy did over 2000 dollars in damage, the rear swing arm is incredibly expensive, not to mention him getting thrown into a tree when the rear end let go.

i've also had mine go, 2 times once cus they were shot then the second time they were installed wrong
