It is taking a long time after I switch to AWD for the front wheels to kick in . Is this done electronically and what could be my problem ? I ride with others and theirs will kick in right away and sometimes my takes 100ft or more.
Thanks,
D.

How is your battery voltage? Are you backing off the throttle when you switch it? When was the oil changed in the front diff last, they like clean hub fluid to work properly.
