Mixing oils bad or good

Default Mixing oils bad or good

i just changed the oil in my sp 500. i put mobil 1 0w 40 in and i forgot to drain the crankcase of the polaris oil. is this a big problem or no???

as long as you had synthenic oil in there it wouldnt be a big deal.

Almost all Synthetic state on the bottle that they can be mixed with regular oil. Mixing oil info

I even read sites that say if your going to use blends to try and say money you might as well blend it yourself for a higher ratio since off the shelf blends only contain 10-20% synthetic at most and are a rip off.




there is only like a cup of oil at most in the crank case if not removed so it would be pretty diluted.

I don't remove the crank case drain plug ,I just start the ATV up for a second with the oil tank drain lug still out and it will squirt out that little bit of oil out also.
