I recently opened my headlight/speedo on my 07 800 ,Can anyone tell me which wires i would use to wire in the work lights? Also what is the 9V battery clip in there for? Is it to hold the clock when you un hook the Batt.?

I have a plug sitting disconnected under the headlight pod on my "08" I think it's the worklight wiring. I have work lights on the back but no bulb or switch. When i get a chance I'm going to try and add my own switch. I think everythig is there but the bulbs and switch.

 

The 9V connection is used to test the throttle position sensor.....

I just hooked mine up.The un-used plug is for the work lights.and the 9V battery connection is for diagnostics

the plug end that you see in the pic. w. the spade connectors going in the differnt dierctions is the one for the work lights.
the wires are red and blue in the black plastic protector.
