18 grease fittings on a 02 500?
#1
I found 14 fittings and greased the 4 tie rod ends. Did I miss 4 fittings?
6 in the rear sus.
2 on front driveshaft
2 1 on each axle ujoint
2 1 each lower ball joint
2 front lower control arms
nothing on steering shaft
4 tie rod ends.
= 18

I saw a spot in the center of the top post bushing where a grease fitting could have been but it wasn't there and no easy way to get it.
I can't find anything on the rear bearing carrier either.
I did miss the slip yoke and got it!
So far 19

I finally got through to my dad - he owns an ATV repair shop (that I grew up in) - as I need to "borrow" his clutch tools.
He told me that on the 02's, there may or may not be the grease points on the rear bearing, since this is the year where they started transitioning to the "greaseless" ATV. He said you should be able to tell if it is greaseable by the bolts on the lower carrier pivots - 9/16 head bolt has the grease zerk, 5/8 head bolt does not.
