In particular, Honda or Arctic cat.
Honda do not have a proper rear differential.
The rear axle is solid inhibiting tight turns.
Gets worse when towing a heavy load,
ATV does not want to turn.
A proper rear differential,
that could be locked when needed,
would be ideal.
Anyone?

Look for a quad with what is called a turf mode. Polaris has some models, and the older bayou 300s had it too.

^ Yep, my Polaris X2 500 EFI. Doesn't affect the turning radius, just doesn't tear the grass up while turning.

The old Yamaha Terra-Pro had a rear end that was also made like that. A Great little machine in its day. Check the link out for more info on them.
