Eton Viper 90R 4-stroke bogging down low
#3
No I haven't checked the gearing but has always had low end sluggishness but never sounded like it was going to die then go. What would you reccomend doing with the gearing, adding rear/front tooth or dropping Rear/front sprocket teeth??

You can either go larger in the rear or smaller in the front for more low end torque. By doing this it will help the clutch last longer as the high gearing puts stress on the clutch and motor to get things moving from a dead stop. This will also help take some load off of the motor and should help with bogging problems, that is assuming it is not a carb or spark plug problem................................Slydog
