Default Polaris Scrambler 50 starter frozen

We have a Scrambler 50 that my 9 year old rides. After the last time she parked it, the electric start would not work. I tried by hand to use the manual start and it is frozen. Is the engine toast or is it likely something with the starter? The local shop will charge me more than it's worth to fix if it is an engine issue. Input appreciated. Thanks.

hi,maybe either the starter drive is locked in the fly wheel,or your cyl is filled with fuel from carb flood, pull plug try to turn over then get back.

Is there a easy way to check the drive on the fly wheel? Thanks.
