Hi all great site you have here.I am getting a 1996 250 trail blazer given to me but it has no motor so what I was wondering is what the engagement speed and peak hp rpms also peak hp the original engine ran at so I can find a motor that is close to the same for clutching reasons.

you could put a 400 engine there if you wanted and w/ the pvt clutching it really wouldnt matter as you could change springs and weights to clutch it right would be my guess.

 

To keep the project simple, I would put in the same that came out. There is plenty of 250's out there.
