650 Shifter Linkage adjustment

How difficult is it to adjust the shifter lever so it engages in the right spot instead of pushing through the gear. Does anyone else have similar issues with the gear shift on a 650 V2?

On my 07 650 h1 mine was one turn off. once I screwed it in one turn it works better and havent had to mess with it since..
