05 ATP 500 elect/seedometer problems
#1
Has anyone out there had the following problems?
Problems started slowly/come and go. Usually when it was damp outside and go away when it got hot and dry.
1 Maintenance whrench with engine oil light - Comes and goes. Whrench still lite, oil light gone.
2 Maintenance whrench with hot engine light - Constant now however, when I first start the thing after it has not ran for day's, I still get the old flashing light, so I know the engine is not running hot???????????
3 Reverse Overide button - Comes and goes. When going in reverse I do not have to push the button for more power or speed however, sometimes I do. Can't use the button at all for its other funtions due to problem 2.
Hopefully, someone out there has had this same problem. I pretty sure the spedo cluster and the overide button work together and that the cluster is the problem.
I did put it on its top once about a year or two ago and it seems the problem started approximatlly 6 months later in the fall/damp weather.
