Default 2 stroke atv vs dirtbike

hey can anybody give me any tips on racing my blaster aginst a dirtbike and winning i have raced a suzuki km 125 i was winning until i reached 6th gear and the km was just hitting 4th

Race in the snow, mud, etc.

The only thing you can do is use situations where having 4 wheels is an advantage, else forget about it unless the other guy can't ride.

hey thanks for the reply when i raced my buddy we were on the street,the dirtbike seems to have a higher gearing and also higher rev limit like i said after i hit 6th gear my buddys suzuki 125 was just hitting 4th gear now i have done some head work on his bike also

hey do ya have a good idea for gearing on mt blaster i still think i need more top end i have 12 tooth front sprocket and a 42 or 52 rear,have had yor atv jetted

ok for 1 if you have a 12 tooth sprocket with a 42 your definitely taking away from your top end. for 2 if you had a 52 tooth rear then your really really taking it away. your stock gear ratio is 13:40 my suggestion is if you want more top end go with a 14:40 set up which will take away from your bottom end. and if you still want more top end with even less bottom end then go with a 14:39. don't forget a bigger front sprocket is more top end the exact opposite in the rear. hope this helps ya out man.

why did you got lower than the stock 13 tooth front sprocket?
