need advice on 07 wolverine

Default need advice on 07 wolverine

long story short got stuck in a mud hole and got hung up on something, only way out was reverse, so when i backed out i peeled back the boot going to the rear axle, its not covered by the skid plate, now its full of water sand and mud, any advice on what to do besides clean the hell out of it, do i need to regrease it... little lost here

Not a Wolvy owner anymore [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] But when in doubt clean it out lol,dont take any chances clean it out and grease her up..

Clean it out and regrease it and replace the CV joint boot...

Default need advice on 07 wolverine

there is nothing in that boot but a sealed u-joint. no CV joint. only thing you can do to clean it is to remove the rear axle. It is not that bad. I broke that u-joint at the last race and I had the axle removed in about 45 minutes. you do have to remove the floor boards to get the swing arm bolts out tho.
