I have a 87 yamaha warrior and from idle it has a bad hesitation. It will rev up but it cuts out when you crack the throttle. I dont understand what it could be i put two different carbs on it and a different head off my buddys bike and a different cdi box on it and adjusted the valves and timing on it and it still does the same thing. Can Somebody help me !!

it looks like its geting good spark but i was thinking it might be the stator. yeah i put two different carbs and different jets and it still runs the same. and it has 120 psi compression.

yea, it could be a stator warriors are known for farking trashing them for some reason...lol, specially if yours is OEM bein an 87 its prolly def done by now, and 120 psi is good, and if u got a fat white/blue spark thats pretty decent, ull have to go through your wiring harness and make sure everthing else is ok , relays, connectors, main switch assembly, ign. coil could be a little worn also, theres alot things it could be, but if it was the stator it wouldnt suprise me, if u had to replace def go with Rickys stator it wud be like $160 shipped

don't know about an '87, but I know on my '00, there is a rev limiter on the parking brake. if you still have the brake, then make sure its fully closed at the lever. that or you could unhook the wire coming from it. that's what I did when I remove my parking brake
