Helmet advice?
#1
I am looking fro a helmet, and not one that will end up being a yellow jacket trap. Basically my question is, are there helmets out there designed for dirt, but still with a full face and shield?
I thought I saw one somewhere, but can't find it.
I have a full face with goggles and it ended up getting me stung a few times when errant yellowjackets ended up inside the helmet.
Thanks

I thought about that, but then venting and heat considerations might play into that decision. Just not sure who is selling those MX helmets with full shield, or if there were other pros and cons I am not catching.

The street bike helmet should have plenty of ventilation since it would be designed to wear during the summer months..
Another possible solution would be to contact your current helmet manufacturer and see if they offer a full face attachment...
