OK, I've posted several times about getting my Raptor jetted right. I THOUGHT I was on the right track, but I'm quickly getting disappointed. I THOUGHT my wheeler was running lean. I have an HMF Full System with a Uni Filter. I currently have 27.5 pilot jets, 3rd needle position, 150/155 main jets, and 2-1/2 turns out on air/fuel screw. The other day it was about 70 degrees outside, very little humidity. It was running decent, but needed some tweaking. I upped the pilot jets to get rid of snap-crackle-pop on deceleration, which seemed to work well. I was still getting some spitting and sputtering on absolute top end. I had heard it was supposed to be near 90 today (which it was), so I was under the assumption that warmer would make it run richer. I rode it today and it runs TERRIBLY. It was 90 and quite humid. If it was running lean (or at least I thought) on a 70-degree day, would it not make sense that it would run a bit better on a 90-degree day? I'm at a loss for ideas. I can't believe it's this fussy. When I was running it stock it ran good no matter what the temp was. I would ride it in the winter time when it was 20-30 degrees, and on a 90 degree day with no difference in performance. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? LoL.

Jetting is a tough deal sometimes.
I really don't know what you are doing wrong. I would have to be there and look at and smell things to see what's up.
One down and dirty trick you might use is this. If you think your lean but don't really know, you can pull the choke on a bit and see if it clears up.
By the way, if you are correct. On a hot day the engine will richen up.

PS. I don't know why your messing with the pilots so much. They are really idle only fuel mix. Get the right jet in it and then tweek the air fuel screw to get it to idle on the money and your done with that circuit.

Sounds like you're too rich. Also, on a raptor 350, I wouldn't worry about the pilot jets either.
