Can someone recommend what size/brand would be good for my vehicle? I have seen 1500 all the way up to 3000 lb. ones on ebay, different brands and want to make sure I get one that is the right size for my rancher and fits right. Thanks, this forum has been really helpful.

 

Ive been looking at the Gorilla. Seems to be really good for the price. Of course you can never go wrong with the Warn if you arent worried about price at all.

 

I'd highly suggest a Warn for durability and quality. You can't go wrong with one

 

My main concern is using for myself to pull myself out if I get stuck, as well as anyone I see stuck.....what size would you recommend for a 420?

 

i have a warn 1.5........its ok 2.5 might be better.........honda was saying anything bigger than 1.5 would bend the frame

but lots of people go bigger

 

The new Warn winches are really nice, high quality and fully sealed.

I would think a 2500 pounder would be fine, but if you wanted the wireless remote and synthetic cable it might be cheaper to buy an XT30 than to add the wireless to the XT25...

If you use your head, I don't think you would bend the frame.
