Default 97 Xplorer - rear brake pad removal?

It has been a year since I tried replacing the rear brake pads but I could not get the pins out that hold the pads in on the rear brake caliper. The quad is a 1997 xplorer 400 4x4. It did on need pads at that time but thanks to a parking brake incident it does now. Does anyone know how to get these pins out? i would just like to know how they work before I destroy something in the learing process. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jamie

I figured it out. The pins just slide out. Mine were froze in there pretty good though and I had to persuade them a bit. Thanks for the info crashnrole.
