Default Places to purchase a 2008 Grizzly 700 for cheap in New England

Hello,

I think I've desided to purchase a new 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 700 with EPS and like many of you, looking for the best possible prices.

So with that, would any of you know of a dealer who sells these machines for way below MSRP?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Pete

Cheap --- WAY BELOW MSRP ???

Doubt it man! Though once the 2009's come out... I am sure they will have 2008 leftovers they will want to sell... Best thing is to get a list of all the dealers and get on the phone... Now - before the 2009's get into their showrooms around the beggining of July... see what they have for inventory... Say things like "My friend and I are interested in a pair of 2008 Grizz 700 w/eps how many / what colors you have? "

The best you will probably get off the MSRP price this time of the year is about $500 max.

Now ... one true advantage you have when the 2009's do come out is that the day that quad hits the deal is the day he starts paying interest on the price of that quad. So techinically you could work quite a deal on an 2009. Also - just because you bought a quad at a stealer - doesn't mean you are responsible for them to service it either...

Ex: 2009 Steel Blue Grizz 700 w/EPS MSRP $8599. Say Stealership pays $6000 for it. If he sells it that same day, he quickly turns a $2599 profit! Say he sells it a month laters worth of interest on that money now he owes say $6100 for it makes a $2499 profit. All Stealers obviously want to always sell their machines for MSRP. But to me smart ones would make deals on them as it is better for them financially...

So good luck in your search for a "WAY BELOW" MSRP 2008 Grizzly 700 w/EPS

Steve are you sure that the dealerships actually fork out the money right away to the manufacturer?

Because I always wondered how a car dealership like GM or Ford, etc. could afford to pay for all the vehicles they have on the lot.

P.S. I haven't had a chance to check the wiring yet on my Kodiak to see how it's held in place. Will do it this weekend and let you know.

No, the Stealerships do not fork out the Cash right away.. but the day the Stealer takes delivery of said ATV is the day they start to pay interest on the money for that ATV. So the quicker the Stealership can turn the payment responsibility over to a new owner the more money (profit) they can make on that ATV.

Some stealerships have enough liquid cash to actually purchase the ATV's from the Manufacturers directly.

Troycitygarage.com in Troy NY had the cheapest price I could find. Had them fax me a quote and my local dealer matched it..actually beat it by $20

Got mine for 8400 OTD including salestax (5%) 2 year YES warranty, all set up fees etc included and a warn winch

MSRP on the 08 camo is$8,649 (RealtreeŽ AP HDtm Camouflage)

So I only really saved $250 over MSRP..and with over a month of searching that was the best deal

Most dealers will charge you MSRP+setup+documentation fees+anything else +tax
