Anyone using a twist throttle that they would recommend?This thumb crap ain't for me!!!LOL Oh yeh stock carb setup if it matters.

 

yes i have woods stage1 kit with twist and wouldn't have it any other way.

 

But can you get just the Twist Throttle?

 

Any twist throttle will work the question is can you get the correct throttle cable. give Motion Pro a call they can make one for you http://www.motionpro.com

Well I finlly got a stage1 Ron Woods kit.Its looks simple enough to put on,but I wonder if you need to jet the big 45mm carb or is it jetted to match the kit? I got the pipe,carb,rev box,intake and K&N(airbox delete). My DS dealer had it on a demo bike.They said it seemed to run fine(not to rich or lean)but I'd rather get some more imput by fellow riders.

I can't help you out here, but I can say this. Test, Re-test & Test again...... After twecking it in, you'll have one fat ride!

 

I have a Stage II kit on mine and Ron Woods sends them already jetted according to your sea level hieght.
