is the awd suppose to light up on the speedometer cluster when engaged?

 

yes; only when in Low,High,or Reverse. Light will not come on if you are at higher speeds for it has a limiter.

 

I just thought of a test that you can perform. Put the quad in neutral and lock the brake; push and hold the yellow overide button and turn switch to the on position(don't start it just cut the power on) Now you can scroll through the dianostic modes by repeatly pressing the yellow button until you see the awd drive icon; when you have the icon on the screen you can cut the awd swich on and off and see if that is what the screen tells you. This is just a little electrical test to help narrow down the problem.

 

The AWD switch lights up when put on,but there is no AWD symbol on the speedo cluster display.When i press the reverse button the only thing that shows is hours,miles and a wrench symbol.

 

Repeat the steps that I mentioned because you should be able to see the battery voltage, hours until service, hours rode, miles rode, and the awd swith test.
