Replacing the front and rear outside boots. The front Cv joint comes of the axle with just a slight tap to install the boot. Although the rear joint looks the same as the front I have a feeling it does not come of the same way. Any advice?

 

Depends on year model (clean around shaft on rear,if see small circlip in recess area,use small flat tip circlip pliers to open and tap off. Same thing to re install. Good luck.
