I live in city, don't ride much and don't have easy access to a place to test it but I thought you guys could help. While riding up and down the street and alley when the powerband kicks in on my warrior I get a sense that the motor is running faster than the bike is accelerating. The bike is accelerating well but it seems like it is not at the same rate that the motor is. While in 1st gear I can hold down the front brake, when I take off the motor is strong and just pushes the locked front wheels down the pavement with no clutch slippage. Am I crazy or what?

 

yea your clutches are prolly toast they usually slip the most in higher gears as its tougher on your clutches at a high gear then it is on a low gear, u can have junk clutches but 1st may still work ok, you prolly just need new clutch kit you can get them from ebc for like 70 bucks
