Default LT80 Trans Rebuild

I just finished rebuilding the quads transmission, replacing all bearings and oil seals, as well as the idler gear and shaft. Do I pack the bearing with red bearing grease before I fill the case, or do I just fill the case with 10w40.

Thanks

Charlie

all the service manual says is to apply oil to the bearings during assembly. no mention of grease. plus i dont see as to why it would be needed when they are in an oil bath. but it wont hurt anything if you do.

I'll probably put in the red automotive bearing grease, then top of with oil. I don't think the extra lubrication would hurt

No grease is ness.
The bearings are partially submersed in the oil.

OK, LT 80...no grease. Fresh 10w40 then . Thanks for your replies.
