Default New quad... What "Upgrades/mods"?

So I went and bought myself a quad! After having friends with them as a kid and my parents telling me they were too dangerous blah blah blah... I have now made it to a financial position to buy all the toys I wanted as a kid that were too dangerous or whatever :-)

I've got it back in the shop now getting the last of my initial goodies installed... (List of them in my sig).
So other than those things what should I look into buying for me and the quad?

Sounds like you've got it setup nice so far. Maybe handguards if you're gonna do a lot of trail riding. They are nice to have

you can always tear into the engine... give it some hours tho..

Over size bore + wiseco piston

Cam

check rittercycle.com hpd-inc.com and hotseatperformance.com

they are the 3 best polaris mod companies out there

oh yeah theres also aaen and EPI they are good too

Handguards are good to have, some type of rear rack,

Upgrade those stock tires (wear em out a bit first)
I have dirt Devils all around my scrammy, they never let me down,

there are dirt devil II's now, which look even meaner

Lets see

Steering Damper is AWESOME scrambler mod

Full skids...

HPD Lower steering bushing

Ritter cycle Airbox mod,

Uni / K&N or twin air filter

dial a jet

Bore carb

port + polish head

chain tensioner

bumper

Trail Tech Vapor computer

Thanks guys One of my roomates had a scrambler in HS so he's been really helpful so far with everything...
A rear rack and some handguards were on the list of things to pick up eventually. I also wanted to go with a taller tire by an inch f/r, and 1" wider in the front. Seems like this was a nice change on my buddies and kept the wheels from getting all dented up in the front by having the wider tire.
Also, having a 70mph crash on my sportbike has tought me the lesson of wearing proper gear. I have a helmet, goggles, gloves, and boots so far for the quad. Anything else I should be looking into?

Yeah if you have all that, than you NEEd the chest protector..

dont get a hard roost-guard type thing

get a race suit, like the 661 pro comp or comp suits
I have one, and unless its a scortcher out you barley feel it on, and the spine guard is awesome, makes me feel alot better about speeding, jumping, and wheelie-ing

I went an inch taller and wider tires all around

Where can I find something along those lines at a decent price? I do the majority of my shopping for the sportbike at motosport.com

If you ride like me you NEED a bumper. And everyone should have a rack for some cold ones.
