Default Running Funny after riding through water.

I took my TrailBlazer 250 out riding a couple weeks ago. We were splashing pretty hard and ran through some water at times. I went to start it today and once I get it started it bogs down and eventually dies. It sounds almost like there is water in the engine? Anyone have any suggestions?

Check air box for water and possible soggy filter, also water possible in stator area. Drain plug under recoil housing, drain, replace plug. Plus if submarined it may have to flush carb and tank if water present. plus 10 mm drain plug at bottom of engine to drain crankcase.

Thanks for the tips. I will try them tomorrow as it is midnight. I did open the air box and there was about 4 inches of water, I emptied it and need to buy a new filter because the present one is wet and soggy. I will try the drain plugs.

THANKS!
