Not really a can-am question- it's a gear question.

I have two questions:

1) On Alpinestar boots (I have tech3) you can adjust the straps by pushing them into the boot. They automatically look into place because of the little bumps on the strap. If I put a strap too tightly, how do I loosen it again? I cannot find a release button to loosen the straps.

2) How do I wash mx pants and jersey? (I have Fox 360 pants and Fox Flexair jersey.) I want to know what settings should be used in washing machines or if I have to wash them by hand, or if I should remove any liners/padding that is in the pants.
