which oil for demand drive

Default which oil for demand drive

which oil do you use for the 07 500x2 demand drive w/o adc one dealer says lts demand drive fluid and the other says premiun demanddrive hub fluid,the owners manual says to use demand drive lt premium

you dont really need the LT fluid for the non adc front ends but i dont think it would hurt it.

THE DEALER sold me the regular demand drive hub fluid but i was afraid to use it when i seen the owners manual said to use the LT.

I think the owner's manual trumps the dealer. Some dealers aren't up to date on these things.

And some owners manuals are wrong, like mine. And my dealer didn't know any better.

Stendori is right. What you don't want to do is use the regular non-LT fluid in a front diff w/ ADC. Personally, I use the regular Premium Demand Drive hub fluid in my 500 without ADC, and use the LT fluid in my 800 with ADC. I could use the LT fluid for both, I just don't.
