Hello,
Did some riding this past weekend and we stopped for a break and I noticed a couple drips of fuel coming out of the hose on the float bowl drain. When we got back I made sure the screw was tight which is was but when running it could still see some fuel in there. Doesnt appear to be a major leak but just a few drips but still feel it shouldn't be doing that? Is the float not adjusted? Can gas really get through that drain with the screw closed. Any ideas of how to rectifiy this problem? I have run the machine and put a cup underneith and sure doesn't seem like a lot but not sure how much comes out when actually riding it? Any help on this would be much appreciated. Its an 07 Predator 500. Thanks!

Sounds good I will have to check that out and see what I find. Its had nothing because its brand new. Really don't think I should have to adjust anything with only 20 hours on the thing but I have had it for about a year now. I am pretty **** about maintence and drain the gas out of hte carb when it sits for any period of time. Thanks for the reply its much appreciated.

To funny thanks for your replies and time Mechanike. So would I just pull those hose on the bottom of the float loosen that screw on the side of the float to drain the gas and put the air compressor nossel right in that hole and blow it out? Would be a great way to start before ripping it apart. I was riding in some pretty dusty conditions this weekend so that could be the culprit?

yeah i would try that, i know how hard it is for a scram,i took off the exhaust shield, loosened to+fro clamps, turned it till the bowl faced me, removed did't see anything pulled down the float+blew with 30 psi right between needle+ seat,be careful not to loose any thing.
