power and speed

i am looking to get more power and a little more speed out of my 2003 z400....any suggestions? there is no lid on the air box and it has a k&n air filter.....thats all i have found so far

An exhuast is always a great place to start, also changing the teeth count, then a carb, cams, head work, and bigger bore.

a jet kit would help alot, you will feel a good bit more power right away. and an exhaust system is somthing to look into to.

exhaust and jet kit...... that really wakes up the z400 a lot...... but if that is not enough then look into the 440 kit.....
