hey all i recently bought a 420 honda. great machine i'm real impressed with the amount of power from such a small engine but i'm about to put larger tires and am looking for ways to boost the horsepower so its as i didnt loose any from the bigger tires... SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!

if its FI
than get it mapped for power

 

Why don't you simply change the drive and/or driven sprocket to compensate for the bigger tires? Oh, nevermind. That's probably a shaft isn't it. Well, could you change the gear?

Some different air cleaners available
Get a Power Commander
Maybe som aftermarket Centrifugal clutch springs...

i have the same wheeler, and there isnt a lot of aftermarket things for it yet. i cant believe people dont realize that a RANCHER doesnt have sprockets, and it sure as hell isnt belt driven. i dont believe changing gears would be that cheap. but im looking into modding mine in the future. also good luck finding anything bigger than 25" tires for your 11" rim.

 

What you will lose with the bit tires, is the machines sweet handling!!!
