someone told me the kfx700 will outrun a 660r, but the 600r was the fastest quad on the market at one time so it had to have a little more then the kfx. also where would the ds650 fit in, i mean it was out then to, is it faster?

....DVR....

the kfx700 will get off the line a little quicker since its automatic but a few feet from take off the 660 should start pullin and the top speed of the 660 is higher than the kfx700.

Sontizzle is right on the money. The belt will have the advantage off the line because there is no time loss to shift. But then about 40 or 45 the belt starts to chew up power big time. That is when the Rappy will blow past you. So to sum it up: The KFX is quicker but the Rappy is faster.
They are both great machines and very fun. Both can be modd'ed out to the max and be made very fast.
